After we returned from our trip to Michigan I was really sick for a couple of weeks and we went up north to Vancouver, BC and visited Aunt Diane, Aunt Andrea and Julia. We spent a night at their townhouse in Burnaby and then headed out to Gambier Island. It was so beautiful and peaceful out there.











We went right back to house hunting after that and we finally have a house! Hopefully we will close on it within the next couple of weeks and move in by Sept 1. I can't wait to be settled here in our own house and my little crazy sleeper Atticus can have his own room.











Last weekend we went to the Red Bull Flugtag and it was really fun. Elijah liked all the different flying contraptions. We also went to our friend Heather's birthday celebration at a yummy pizza place in portland and heather baked some amazing cupcakes with ice cream inside them, so good!

Been a while

Its been a while since I posted some new info, mostly because Atticus is not the best sleeper so I am pretty much out of commision by 9pm every night.

We are leaving for Michigan tonight! Its going to be a long all night flight and then the kiddos and I are going to be in Michigan for 17 days and Brad will be there for a week. It should be tons of fun and we look forward to seeing everyone!

Mother's Day

This is a little out of order but I really wanted to post this because it was so cute. Isaraya's class had a Mother's Day tea. She made a placemat, wooden flower with her picture and strawberry shortcake for me (and her), it was so sweet.

Alberta Art Hop

This past weekend we went to the Alberta Art Hop. It was really, really hot outside so we couldn't stay too long but it was fun and there was some really cool art. They had a parade that was truly Portland style with lots of bikes, cross dressers, circus performers, a tie-dyed band and a belly dancing woman with a snake on her head.

First Post

Hi, this is our first official entry in our Blog on our adventures in the Pacific Northwest. I'm sure its going to take a while to figure out how to arrange everything but we are excited to share all the fun things we have been doing with our family and friends! I hope you enjoy reading it.
