Cub Scout Chocolate Sale
So Elijah had to sell Chocolate to help raise money for his camp. Rather than just letting his daddy take the chocolate to work to sell, Elijah with help from RayRay and Bubbs went door to door on our block. Neighbors we knew and didnt' know. People were super sweet buying a bunch.
After the neighborhood sweep, there were still about 10 candy bars left, so Elijah and Roo decided to go Lemonade stand style in front of the house. Amazingly enough, they sold out in like a 1/2 hour. So proud of those kiddos.

Showcase Night at school
Brotherly love!
Abraham Lincoln mask

Brad got a little excited that one of the kids did their famous person report on Barry Sanders
Showcase night was fun, it was so crazy to me that we had two kids who are in elementary school. Isaraya has come so far in her shyness, she sang the songs on stage and did the movements, we were so proud. Elijah did such an amazing job on his Abraham Lincoln report and we loved how creative he was with his mask and costume. Have a great weekend everyone!

One Small Change Project
To all our family and friends,
I just wanted to let you know that we are participating in the One Small Change Project
http://1smallchangeblog.blogspot.com/2010/02/one-small-change-2010.html
For me (Shannon) the first month's change was not shopping at Walmart anymore. Before we moved out here I didn't really shop there anyway but from where we live now its the closest store to get some of our convenience groceries so I used to stop there pretty regularly. Walmart is definitely not known for their eco-friendly practices so by not going there I know I have to be helping somehow.
My second change was buying the kiddos and my clothes used instead of new. We did a big shopping trip to Value Village recently for their half off day and stocked up pretty well.
I'm not sure yet what my March change will be but I'll be thinking about it and keep you posted!

Staying caught up
I'm trying to keep up with the blog this time around so here are our recent adventures!
Snowball, she is so stinkin' cute but man is she trouble!
Elijah did his first big school presentation, he did amazing and we were so proud. He just seems so old now.
Valentine's Day biscuits and gravy they were sooo good
Atticus was pretty excited for the biscuits
Isaraya's orange art, everything is art to her, makes her momma proud
I managed to pick up some semolina for my next batch of homemade pasta
Atticus' crib before
And After!
There may have been a few injuries along the way but it was worth it for the kiddos to have a bike ramp!
And finally, its baseball season again!
